Technically, the way I see it, Raikou is the son (or it, in this case XD). Ho-oh created him, and before Arceus, Ho-oh was kinda considered as...well, I'm not trying to be religious or anything, so just ignore me XD

And it's my favorite song, by the way >>;

Well excuse me, but Suicune and Entei were also created by Ho-oh. =P Therefore, Raikou is not 'the' son, but 'a' son. XD

Meh, Raikou fits the bill more than Entei does (imho), and Suicune shouldn't be a "son". Daughter, maybe XD

Well, while Ho-oh did ressurect three Pokemon that had perished in the flames of the burnt tower, he altered their physical structure and gave them special abilities and jobs. So I guess you could kinda say either actually... (hey, this is Pokemon we're talking about XD)
