Yep, decided to make my own art thread. (like anyone would want to look at my "stuff" >>; ) I know there's not all that much for the first post, but I think it might do. I made all the following using a free editing program called Paint.NET. (since there's no way I'm spending 100$+ just to get photoshop) So yeah, don't expect them to be all that good...
Also, none of the standalone pics featured in the banners were made by me, so I take no credit for them. (for example: the Flareon pic was made by a very talented artist on DeviantART)

Hey, thanks, DD! I'm glad you like the Marvel banners. My brother (Full Flame) is crazy about Carnage, so that's why I decided to make that one. (and it turned out pretty well if I do say so myself) Also, I know the Rogue banner was fairly plain and simple, but I couldn't think of anything really creative for it. Meh, I might make another "cartoon-style" one later sometime. (along with a few of the other X-Men)

Why thank you. I appreciate it. =) -'Specially if it's from a good artist such as yourself. Again, it was quite a random project, but I'm glad you like it. (still think the text's odd...) I think the thing that made it more unique was that "worn edge" look I gave it. Just something I thought would look cool and I wanted to give it a try.

My first li'l Pichu banner! *hugs pichu* After finding out about the notched-eared Pichu, I decided to make a banner in its honor. The text is very experimental and I added to bolts at the edges to give it a sparky effect. Made an animated version of this one... But um, yeah, it didn't turn out so well... >>; Anyway, this one was obviously made for Full Flame. XD Uh, not much much detail... Ah well, I only really wanted to try adding a reflection effect to my bubbles. But in any case, I think it looks kinda cool.

Fire Emblem- (haven't made any male-based banners yet XD)

Ilyana is my favorite character from Radiant Dawn, so it wasn't that hard deciding to use her in one of my banners. Tried messing with the border some, but I don't know...what do you guys think of it? Lute is an unstoppable powerhouse on my Sacred Stones game and I thought mixing red flames with purple magic might look cool. Just a standard banner really. Vanessa is also a powerful character I use all the time in SS. I wasn't gonna level her up at first, but after learning she could become a Wyrven Knight, I decided to give her a try. I wasn't disappointed. XD Anyway, I experimented with some rainbow effects in this one as you can see. Does it look a bit odd?

Sorry if it looks same old, same old. I'm trying to think of ways to be more creative.

I'm very glad you think they look okay. =) The Swampert/Mudkip is a bit plain, but I suppose some banners are just better that way. (besides the fact that almost anything would be good as long as it included Mudkip)

I like the border of the Pichu banner for some reason. mixing blue and yellow without ending up with greenish stuff is always cool I reckon. And yes, I know that pic of Pichu is everywhere on the internet. =P

I found a monsterous amount of pictures to mess around with couple of days ago, so yeah, more doodle-dabbles on the way soon!

But yeah, here's some small projects I've been working on this past week or so: (I just hope that this page doesn't become too big for some people to load)

The first of my "shape creations". Since the featured Pokemon was Jigglypuff, I obviously chose circles. Yep, Clefairy is often associated with space and thus is seeing stars. I like how this one turned out, although it does seem a bit empty. =/ *sigh* It's triangles for you, Togepi~ I'm not sure why exactly, but I have a strange liking for this one. =) It just looks...shiny... Umbreon is one of the coolest Pokemon ever, am I right? I just love how it's rings glow in the darkness. I've been wanting to make a banner like this for the longest time and now I finaly have! It was a little hard to animate though, but I'm glad with the results. =) Meh, this one was just an experiment. I'll probably make a better version sometime in the future.
