What, that Kirby pic? I just found it on google a while back. (found it under kirby filetype:png) But that Blastoise pic...let's just say that I was really lucky one day and found a link from someone on deviantart. I don't know the artist is exactly, but he makes sugimori-style Pokemon drawings and whatnot. I believe his pics are free to use so's long as one doesn't claim them as their own. Dumbstruck awesome, right? And imagine, he's taken the time to do almost all 493 Pokemon too! I feel I should give him credit just 'cause...
And thank you for the compliments~ But they could be much better, and that's what I intend to work on. (especially after I get Photoshop)

Oh, the 3D effect? I'm not sure about PS, but on Paint.NET, there's an option that allows the user to rotate and turn a flat, 2D object to any angle they want. After adjusting the view of the object to my liking, I duplicate the layer and use motion blur (making sure it is set to the respective angle) on the bottom layer. Then I simply duplicate the motion-blurred layer as many time as necessary in order to get a solid-looking ogject (maybe adding a drop shadow to it), and presto!
Yeah, I know. Cheap 3D. But you gotta admit it does look kinda convincing. Wink
